How can I help?

There are lots of ways you can help depending on your personal situation. Simply spreading the word about our organization and animals available for adoption is an incredible help. Additionally, becoming a foster, adopting an animal, donating supplies or organizing a donation event all help us help more animals.

You can donate using our Amazon wishlist if you would like.

What kind of rescue are you?

We are a foster based rescue. We do not have a central location. That means that all our animals are able to be kept in loving homes and experience positive interactions with humans. We specialize in cats, with a secondary focus on dogs.

What do foster families do?

A foster home provides animals with a safe and loving, home environment, rather than the animals being kept in cages at one central location. Foster families are responsible for two things: keeping the animals they have safe, and providing a good experience with humans. This gives the animals in our care a great start to life.

How do I become a foster?

The process to become a foster is simple. We will visit you in your home to ensure that you have all the proper accommodations for the animals you wish to foster. This includes individual space for the animals you are foster. Then, we will let you know when we have animals available and together we will determine if they are a good fit for your situation and any expertise you might have.

Why is your adoption fee so much??

The adoption fee covers the cost of providing health and foster care for each animal. The typical costs of care that each animals receives includes-spay/neuter ($80-$200), FRCCP vaccinations ($20-$40), rabies vaccination ($20-$30), deworming ($20-$50), foster care ($20-$100). While $200 might initially feel like a lot for a cat or kitten, the cost of adoption is actually less than it would cost for animals to receive the same care privately.
